WHAT IS THE BIG GEAR SHOW?

See, Try, Buy - All at Once

The Big Gear Show is multi-category trade event for the paddlesports, cycling, climbing, and camping markets. We are solely focused on meeting the needs of retail stores and hardgoods manufacturers. The demo is fully integrated into the event, so buyers get to test gear right at the show. There is simply no better place to discover new brands and products.
Cross-Category Show
- Meet retailers who serve different markets
- Find more opportunities to open business outside your traditional core
- Share best practices across categories via education sessions
Outdoor Experiential Format
- Access to world-class trails and paddling for demo opportunities
- Do business after a ride, hike, run or paddle
- Safe outdoor environment vs cooped up indoors
Highly-Vetted Attendees
- Highly-curated selection of bike, paddle and outdoor brands
- We help subsidize lodging for top retailers to keep expenses down
- We vet every retailer applicant to assure our professional buyer attendance
Lower Exhibiting Costs
- Simpler, cheaper, and more transparent pricing structure
- Just drive up and set up - no unions, elevators, or dolly fees
- Reasonable booth sizes, just let the people and product do the talking
- Pricing that honors returning exhibitors

The Best Retailers

We are hosting the top outdoor gear and bike shops from across North America. Attendance is limited and if you register early, we even subsidize your lodging!

The Brands They Want to See

The Big Gear Show is limited to hand-selected brands that retailers actually want to see. Maximum engagement, minimal distraction.

Park City:
An Outdoor Paradise

Park City is an outdoor paradise in the summer. It is home to some of the most beautiful lakes and rivers, pristine hiking trails, vistas and legendary road and mountain biking in North America. This is a place retailers and brand teams want to go for vacation – so we decided to return to a place we’re all excited about.

Easy Airport Access

Getting to Park City is super easy. It’s located just 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Take a shuttle, Uber, or rent a car for the quick drive to Park City.

Great Weather

In August, Park City averages highs in the low-80s, lows in the upper-40s, and only an inch of rain for the whole month. With an elevation of 7,000 feet, it’s ideal for outdoor recreation.

Suprisingly Affordable

Park City may be home to the rich and famous in the winter – but in the height of the offseason, we’ll have the mountains, trails, and nightlife to ourselves.

I want to go! How do I register?

If you’re a cool gear shop or a hardgoods brand with a story to tell, we want to hear from you. Message us here to request an application.
